Momma's little model...
Purchased a new camera a short while ago and my poor kids have been suffering ever since. Ha! While trying to learn the ropes of all the settings on this camera, I of course have needed models...and while most days are filled with bribes of candy, dessert, suckers, ice cream and the famous line, "just one more picture," today was a different story. After taking Quin out to snap a few photos of him, Parker was insistent that I take some pictures of her because she was "the true model" as she said... So here she is, my confident, sarcastic, witty, beautiful, thoughtful, emotional FIVE year old daughter Parker Averi aka "The True Model"

Spent some time in the garden with this little boy at the beginning of Spring (I know, I'm behind on my blogging). Although, he was much more interested in digging for worms than he was pulling weeds for mom... we actually made a nice team the two of us :)
"Momma look! A birdie!"
Some of these worms may or may not have been harmed... Quin chose not to comment ;) haha

Almost TWO!
"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I am living my baby you'll be...."
sneaky. naughty. loving. sleepless. naughty. dog lover. silly. dinosaur lover. snuggles. daddy's boy.
Just a few words to sum up what ONE has been like with Quin, and I wouldn't trade any of it for the world! :)

Christmas Cookie Party!
It's party time! Every year my sister in law hosts a Christmas Cookie Party, we are supposed to bring a homemade (absolutely no store bought) cookie along with 10 copies of your recipe and a wrapped ornament for an ornament exchange... Since it is not very often that I get out of the house with out one or two kids tagging along I usually attend this party solo and soak up all the adult time I can...but this year Parker had basically baked the cookies all by her self so who was I to say no to her when she asked to join me? ;) I must point out that this party is not just an ordinary party...oh no, there are prizes involved people...GREAT prizes! Like a super adorable Christmas apron along with red and green spatulas that say "Naughty" and "Nice" on them that go to the winner of the "BEST COOKIE!" So it was very important that ours turned out the best! We decided on yummy looking cookie I found on Pinterest (of course) called the Andes Mint Cookie, you can find the recipe here on the Six Sisters' Stuff Blog!
Now the BEST part of the party...sampling everyone cookies!
I should point out that we did not win...I repeat, we did not win...the award went to my personal favorite of the night, the White Chocolate Oatmeal! SO YUMMY! But we did come home with some really cute new ornaments for our tree and had a great time visiting with friends and family! :)

Sew many pajamas!
So I have an addiction and it's fabric...oh how I LOVE fabric! For the last couple of weeks I have been a slave to the machine everyday during "nap time" which is also known as mommy's "craft time" around here....sewing pajama pants. It all started when I came to the realization that my kids were growing (shocking right) and had out grown their pajama's, and I was not about to go out and spend a butt load of money on more pajamas when I could make them my self for way cheaper and personally I think WAY cuter! :)
This was all of my fabric (cut out) PRIOR to going to Joann's Black Friday sale, which I should say is a bad idea when you already have enough pajama pants to last your kids for the next 2 years ;)
My damage at the Black Friday Sale, a $1.74 per yard.....it doesn't get better than that people!!!!
And this right here is why I keep making them....doesn't get much cuter than that if you ask me!
